Policies

Please read the following rental policies which are designed to make your vacation with us an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Rental Units: Every home and condo is privately owned and reflects each owner’s individual taste. Please advise us of any specific requirements. You may inspect our rentals when not occpied. We will be unable to make substitutions or refunds upon arrival. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Reservations: We begin taking reservations on January 2, of each year. Phone reservation are held for 8 days for deposit to arrive. We book both Saturday to Saturday and Sunday to Sunday. There is a $45 non-refundable reservation fee charged for each rental.

Advance Payment: Advance payment of 50% of the total rent is required to confirm all reservations. If not received within 8 days of placing reservation your reservation will be cancelled. Advance payment may be made with credit card (MC, Visa and Discover only), check, travelers check or money order. Returned check fee is $45.

BALANCE DUE 30 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL DATE: Please pay in credit card (MC, Visa and Discover only), certified check, money order, travelers check. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED AT CHECK IN.

Check-In/Check-Out: Guests must check-in between 3-5PM. Early arrivals are subject to wait. Late arrivals please call for special instructions. All properties must be vacated and keys returned to the rental office no later than 11AM on day of departure.

Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of people that may occupy a unit is the number that can sleep in existing beds. This rule also applies to day visitors. Occupancy over capacity will result in eviction and forfeiture of rent. NO HOUSE PARTIES of any kind! We reserve the right to refuse rental or discontinue occupancy if in the agency’s opinion occupancy is detrimental to the premises. Drive-by inspections are made on a regular basis.

Parking is very limited in Kure Beach, so do not bring unnecessary cars. Most properties have assigned parking for only one or two cars and will assign only one pass. Single-family properties allow only one vehicle per bedroom. VANS, CAMPERS & TRAILERS are not allowed.

Family Groups: Kure Beach is a family oriented beach. We will not accept reservations from any prom, fraternity/sorority or other similar group of unrelated individuals. Any group that reserves a property by giving false information will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.

Cleaning: Upon check-out each unit is cleaned by our rental staff. However, guests are responsible for washing dishes, discarding any food and taking out the trash prior to departure. PLEASE FOLLOW THE DEPARTURE CHECKLIST POSTED IN EACH UNIT.

Damages: Each rental is inspected upon check-out and any damages to the property will be charged to the tenant’s name as listed on the RENTAL AGREEMENT. To ensure that the proper party is held responsible, please notify our office of any damages found upon check-in.

Maintenance: We and the owners try to keep all equipment in good working order. In the event of any failures of major appliances or air conditioners, repair will be made as soon as possible. However, no rebate or refund will be issued. Please note – VCRs or DVD players are not considered major appliances.

Restrictions: Violators will be asked to leave immediately with no refund if the following are observed by rental staff:

  • Pets on premises
  • Grilling on porches or decks
  • Campers, RVs, mobile homes or tents on premises or driveways
  • House parties of any kind

Linens: Each property is equipped with blankets and pillows. Guests must bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels and washcloths. Linens may be rented through Seaside Linens at 1.866.615.4636 and other beach equipment, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, playpens and strollers.

Telephones: Most rentals are equipped with phones. Please use your cell phone or a calling card for any long-distance calls.

Cancellations: If you cancel your reservation more than 60 days prior to arrival, 75% of any advance payment will be refunded. If you cancel less than 60 days prior to arrival, no refund will be issued unless we are able to re-rent the property for the same dates. If the property is not re-rented, tenant will not be reimbursed for any advance rent payment. If we are able to re-rent the property, 75% of any advance payment will be refunded.

Transfers: Once a reservation has been confirmed any request by tenant to transfer to another property or time period will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the policy stated above. We reserve the right to transfer your party to another property should your reserved unit become unavailable. If, at the designated time of arrival we cannot provide the property in a fit and habitable condition, or substitute a reasonably comparable property, we shall refund all payments made by the tenant.
